About Me

My photo
Carlisle, Pennsylvania
I am a stay at home mom..now that is! February 19th, 2007 I was involved in a car accident while on vacation in Florida. I awoke in ICU to find out that my only two children Annemarie age 3 and Michael age 5 did not make it. Scrapbooking became such a big part of my life. It helped fill a void that I desperately needed to fill. Our therapist suggested that I take up scrapbooking as a way to memorialize my children, little did she know! So I took that and ran with it.I became obsessed with scrapping and took over the second largest room in my house. Because of my injuries I couldn't go out and get a job, I just scrapped!I printed out 2,000 photos and my journey began. I have made albums for family members and layouts to decorate my craft room. We thought we were done having kids but who expected this tragedy??? I just gave birth in June 2009 to two beautiful baby girls Mia Anne and Gianna Marie named after their brother and sister.I swore that I would keep up with their albums so I won't become overwhelmed so we will see how that works out! My profile picture is the last family picture that was taken of all of us.

A Little Bit of This & A Little Bit of That

Good morning everyone! I am here to share with you a bunch of different items that I created with various stamp sets and dies from Craftin' Desert Divas.  Absolutely no main theme in mind, I just wanted to play around with too many stamps at once.  This was the result, lol. CDD has so many adorable stamps and amazing dies I don't know what to do first.

For my first project I used THE SKY IS THE LIMIT stamp set along with a masking technique to accomplish the overall design.  My goal here was to make a flat mailable card to brighten someone's day. I grabbed my trusty FANCY FRAMES dies to finish it off.

Next I grabbed the newly released TINY TREASURE stamp set along with the TINY TREASURE COORDINATING DIES.  I had sooooo much fun playing around with this set!! I couldn't stop.  I love, love, love the nice big onesie die.  I did a masking technique on a couple just playing around with designs.  I am also including a picture of one that I made and shared in the CDD GALLERY  (the pink cutie POO Tootie) so you can see the versatility of the set.

This was my daughter's favorite! She love the "poo" in the diaper...lol and wouldn't stop talking about it.

Thanks for stopping by the CDD Blog today.  Don't forget we have a super fun LINKY PARTY going on right now.  You have plenty of time left to play along.
